Dr. Minkin is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

He began his educational training at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, where he played collegiate baseball and earned a chemistry degree. After college, Dr. Minkin began a career in pediatric cancer research within the pharmaceutical sciences department of St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. During his time at St. Jude his research contributions in pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics were published in several peer reviewed journals
He then earned his DDS from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Dr. Minkin continued his educational training, completing a General Practice Residency at Louisiana State University
Dr. Minkin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABOMS), a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Arkansas State Dental Association (ASDA), and Northwest District Dental Society (NWDDS).
Dr. Minkin and his wife, Casey, live in Fayetteville and are proud parents of Alice and Nolan. They enjoy sports, hiking and exploring everything Northwest Arkansas has to offer. Dr. Minkin and his family are avid sports fans and enjoy anything related to professional and collegiate athletics!
